Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

On thursday, november 22nd was Thanksgiving, and the biggest parade took place in NYC. The 86th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, where many artists attended and performed, traveled down Central Park West from 77th Street to Columbus Circle along Central Park South to 6th Avenue, down 6th Avenue to 34th Street and along 34th Street to Macy's Herald Square. Some of the artists who attended were:  The Roots and Jimmy Fallon, Whoopi Goldberg, The Olympic Gymnasts, Tyler Glenn, Cody Simpson, Rachel Crow, The Wanted, Trace Adkins, Colbie Caillat, Florida and many anonymous artists.

It was very exciting to watch the parade. People came from all over the country and it's so cool to watch the kids amazed by the huge floating balloons. Many families arrived there early in the morning to have a good view and waited hours until the parade started. I am sure it was worth it though, I just don't know if I would do the same. I arrived there a little later and missed the beginning, but had a chance to take some good pictures. Enjoy it!
